Stink bugs, tomato and cut worms, leafminers – overcome by tentgardens

Tent Gardens -This is truly the next generation of gardening naturally. I beat these pesty bugs without the use of chemicals.

I simply put a barrier between my plants and flying insects while creating the perfect “micro-climate” for my garden. Just think, no more stink bugs! It’s true! No more moths, butterflies, or any other flying insects laying eggs on my tomatoes, or stink bugs feasting on my cucumbers, squash and melons! Perfect squash and zucchini every season! I’m proud to provide a solution that cures what the organic sprays, oils, soaps, and home remedies couldn’t! Using Mikroclima netting and a little ingenuity, you’ll finally have a solution that works too! Go to http://sfgsupply.com/TentGardens.aspx and see examples of how tent gardens work and how you can get this netting for your garden! Then, you can enjoy these veggies all season long too!

This class has been standing room only over the last two months so get there early and bring a pencil! See you Saturday!

Standing Room Only!

The All New Square Foot Gardening class at the Paisley County Library today was filled to standing room only. It was great to see folks that are ready to learn alternative gardening methods. Many of those in the class understood the importance of being somewhat self sufficient and improving their nutrition given our current circumstances. We talked about the ten basics of SFG, composting, insects, pests, and irrigation solutions. The class was a hugh success.  All that’s left now is to get that garden ready and grow some vegetables!!

Marion Baysinger Memorial Library – SFG Class

I had a class full of folks at the library Tuesday, Feb 1 for the Introduction to Square Foot Gardening Class! We looked at  a lot of pictures of varions garden layouts, and talked about the ten basics of Square Foot Gardening. Everyone was excited and asked lots of questions. I demonstrated the new and affordable SFG Supply basic vinyl box and grid system and illustrated how the I-Grid irrigation system works. These products can be seen at SFGSupply.com.  Introduction to All New Square Foot Gardening classes will be held at the Paisley County Library on Feb 15 at 11 a.m. and the Minneola Schoolhouse Library on March 5 at 10 a.m.  Best wishes to all those that attended the class! Happy Gardening!

W.T. Bland Library Class

I had a great time teaching the introduction to All New Square Foot Gardening class on Friday. We had an awesome turnout. The setting was relaxed and I thing we all had fun - shared some laughs, wisdom, and insight. Best of all was seeing folks that want to learn how they can improve their health and well being through this method of gardening.

Thanks to the staff at W.T. Bland Library in Mount Dora, FL.  They were awesome! And ALSO – thanks to Judy Buckland, Lake County Library Services, for making this a big success!  I hope we can do this again in the future!
